New Dental Patients

New Dental Patients: Your First Visit

Most of our new patients come to us for a specific need, or just for a checkup. Once you arrive, we’ll introduce you to our staff and have you complete a bit of necessary paperwork.

Alternatively, you can download your new patient forms prior to your appointment time and fill them out at your own convenience.

If you’re here for a checkup, our hygienist will escort you to the treatment room and begin taking a series of digital x-rays, intraoral photographs, smile photos and completing other routine intraoral charting (such as that needed for diagnosing periodontal disease).

Next, we’ll discuss any concerns that you have or things you prefer to be addressed first. Dr. Sal will inspect your teeth and complete an oral cancer screening. Finally, he will review the photographs with you, allowing you to see the same things that he does, so that any necessary treatment can be planned out appropriately.

We Like to Keep Things Simple

Each treatment plan is formulated with our individual patients’ needs and concerns at hand. When at all possible, we will review alternatives that may be available, so that you can select the best one for you.

A brief scan will allow us to create a 3D model of your teeth without any messy impressions and then you’re ready to book your next visit!
